The Twin Winton cookie barn cookie jar is a highly detailed and unique piece that is sure to catch the eye of any collector. This cookie jar is crafted by the Twin Winton company, which is known for its high-quality ceramic pieces. The cookie jar is in the shape of a barn with a peaked roof, a door and a window on the front, and a chimney on the top and farm animals in each window. I see some replicas of this jar being made, but my jar is stamped Twin Winton on the bottom and has that genuine ceramic vintage look. Unfortunately, the value doesn’t look like it’s there, this jar seems to sell for only around $20-$30.
I believe this jar is from the 1970s. The level of detail on this cookie jar is truly impressive. All sides have different details. I currently have jars throughout the house, this one is on the floor in front of a vent. The barn is painted with a rustic, weathered look, complete with a wooden texture, door handle, and window panes. The chimney is also intricately detailed with bricks, and the roof shingles are carefully crafted to look like real cedar. There are chickens, duck, horse, lamp peeking out of the barn.
This cookie jar is not only a functional piece but also a decorative one. It can be used to store cookies or other treats and can also be displayed in a kitchen or living room. The red color of the barn and the white lid of the cookie jar inside, gives a nice contrast and makes it stand out. The size of the jar is a nice size, not one of the smaller jars they seem to be making. It has good height to it. I like the details of the painted wood slats. I saw a few of these jars that were unpainted and a brown pottery look. I prefer the look of the painted piece.
Collectors of Twin Winton pieces and cookie jar enthusiasts alike will appreciate the attention to detail
