Chef Head Cookie Jars

I have two cookie jars shaped like a bakery chef’s head in a chef’s hat in my collection. I have two of these jars. These jars are typically made of ceramic and feature intricate details, such as a chef’s hat and apron, as well as a friendly and smiling face. The chef’s head can be designed to look like a man or a woman, often with a mustache or a ponytail.

The chefs typically look like what one would think of as a French pastry chef. Wearing a chef hat, neckerchief and fancy handlebar mustache.

These jars are not only functional for storing cookies, but also make for a great decorative piece in the kitchen or dining area. They can add a touch of charm and nostalgia to any space.

When shopping for a chef’s head cookie jar, it’s important to pay attention to the details and quality of the piece. Look for jars that have been well-crafted and painted, as well as those that are in good condition with no chips or cracks.

Another thing to consider is the size of the jar. Some chef’s head cookie jars can be quite large and may not fit in smaller kitchen spaces. Make sure to measure the available space where you plan to keep the jar before making a purchase.

These jars would look cute as decor in a bakery. Whether you’re a collector or simply looking for a fun and functional kitchen accessory, these jars are sure to be a conversation starter and bring a touch of nostalgia to your home.

Vintage MCCOY Chef Head Cookie Jar from the 1960’s made in the USA – Value about $40. The jar has a hand painted look and is very detailed with eyelashes and eyebrows and bright blue eyes.

Metlox Poppytrail Pottery – More cartoon style with less expressive eyes and detailed face. But the manufacturer is more sought after so this jar has a value of around $75
