If you have a lot of left over ingredients from making holiday cookies. You can take your ends of packages and turn them into an easy granola. This can be scaled up or down depending on how much you want to make.
To make granola from oatmeal, honey, raisins, nuts, coconut and oil, you will need the following ingredients:
- 4 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup oil (such as canola oil or coconut oil)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, honey, raisins, nuts, and coconut and salt.
- Pour the oil over the oat mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
